Principal accountabilities:

1. Ensure 3rd party debtors are proactively chased and pay within agreed payment terms to maintain overdue debt and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) within agreed target levels
2. Monitor payment performance of customers and escalate immediately where appropriate
3. All CRM (Customer Relationship management) activities reviewed and followed daily
4. Maintain accurate and up to date all chase records and interaction with customers in CRM
5. Daily review of credit hold list and follow up with customers - (list of sales orders held due to overdue)
6. Highlight all customer's disputes and record in SAP immediately to ensure quick turnaround
7. Daily review and follow up on all disputes on assigned customer's accounts
8. Daily review and follow up with customers on unallocated payments
9. Issue copy invoices/credit notes and account statements as required
10. Monitor shared email boxes to make sure all requests are actioned and response provided within agreed time
11. Liaise with Credit Risk team to ensure accurate data is maintained and all risks to collections are identified
12. Follows instructions given by superior
