Warehouse Manager

Our client is an established pharmaceutical manufacturer in Hal Far, Malta, producing both active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished medicines. Around 180 people work there, from a wide mix of nationalities and age groups, and the production team is growing.

The role

As a Warehouse Manager you run and monitor the equipment that manufactures pharmaceutical products. You follow written procedures precisely, document your work, keep your area to pharmaceutical standards and flag anything that looks wrong. This is a hands-on production role, and you will be working directly on the production floor rather than in a traditional office environment. Accuracy matters more than speed.

Shifts

Twelve-hour rotating shifts: one day shift from 06:00 to 18:00, one night shift from 18:00 to 06:00, then two days off, and the pattern repeats. This is permanent, not occasional overtime. A shift allowance is paid on top of your base salary.

What you bring

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics,
  Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline
  
• Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the
  pharmaceutical, healthcare, chemical or highly regulated manufacturing
  industries
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership or managerial position
  
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP and pharmaceutical warehousing requirements
  
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience will be preferable)
  
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  
• Able to work in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
  
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of Maltese will be preferable
  
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality, compliance and continuous improvement
