A bit about Mjolner We develop your business through IT, together
Mjolner is an IT house specializing in software, digitalization, and end-to-end solutions. Although we love technology, we put business first. At our offices in Denmark and Spain, we are a collective of 400 specialists.
When the task is challenging, and the solution is not obvious, we are a good choice. This has been the case since nine computer scientists from Aarhus University founded Mjølner in 1988. Since then, we have turned customers' complex challenges into concrete, high-quality IT solutions.
Like the famous hammer whose name we bear, we hit the mark and come back stronger. We have the best colleagues because we offer a work home. An environment characterized by community, good professional dialogues, and a strong culture. We enjoy going to work, but we also value our leisure time and understand the importance of balance.
We're rooted in Scandinavian values of low hierarchy, high trust, clear communication, and work-life balance.
Your Daily Mjolner Life As a .NET Developer at Mjolner Informatics in Madrid, you typically enter into a number of projects for Danish and international clients with the Danish teams both in Copenhagen and Aarhus, who will include other developers, UX consultants, project managers and designers.
The projects vary in scope, duration, industries and technologies. Currently, we are developing software projects mainly in .NET.
Freedom with responsibility and respect for family and free time is key to our culture, which is why you are in charge of your own day-to-day activities.
We prioritise each other and our social and professional community. Therefore, you get to be part of professional guilds (e.g. Frontend, Backend and Architecture, IT Security), where you can take your knowledge to new places or strengthen your current technology stack.
Your personal qualifications and competences Preferably you have a University degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years experience as a .NET developer. It will be a plus if you are also familiar with Azure DevOps, Microservices, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS and/or CI/CD. We value a curious mindset and a willingness to learn and develop your skills in close cooperation with your colleagues.
As you will be working remotely with the teams in Denmark, your level of English must be very high, and you should be used to communicating with many different stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
To succeed with the above, we will make sure you visit Mjolner in Denmark, both initially and going forward, to meet your Danish colleagues and get to know our company and unique culture from the inside. Onsite customer meetings might also occur.
The rest of the time you can work from our office located centrally in Madrid in the Salamanca area.
What can Mjolner offer you? In addition to a competitive base salary, our compensation package includes a range of benefits that can be customized to fit your individual needs. These include:
