Responsibilities / Tasks- Managing the payroll process via external provider for the country, across multiple legal entities.
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining payroll records.
- Advising management on various projects and change management in the processes or policies of GEA
- Understanding and enforcing GEA global and local policies updated and integrated into payroll processing
- Working closely with local HRBP's and our central HR hub on day-to-day task and driving projects
- Making sure our Workday system is synced with the payroll software, performing data entry as needed
- Ensuring timely payments of salary, taxes and applicable social charges
- Replying to employee queries, escalating queries and concerns as needed. Draw conclusion of process improvements
- Act as a responsible backup in times of absence
Your Profile / Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, managing stakeholders and projects.
- Proficiency in Danish and English is needed
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll softwares, Microsoft Office, Workday, various HR systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
