Assistant Manager, B2B Sales Operations

Our client is an international customer experience company with a large operation in Lisbon. One of its teams there runs B2B advertising sales for a major global social media platform, and it is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead the Operations Supervisors who run that team. 

The role

You sit one level above the front line. You take on up to four Operations Supervisors, each leading a team of up to 15 sales professionals, so around 60 people in total. The account spans several language markets and this role carries no second-language requirement, so your supervisors may sit across different ones. You report to the Project Manager.

What you will do

• Lead and manage a group of Operations Supervisors, holding the standard on service delivery and performance goals
  
• Coach, mentor and develop your team so each supervisor grows into the role
  
• Monitor the KPIs, set ambitious targets and drive continuous improvement
  
• Resolve escalated customer issues quickly and to a high standard
  
• Anticipate problems and opportunities rather than react to them
  

What you need

• English at C1 level or higher
  
• Around two years leading teams, or solid supervisor experience and readiness to step up.
  
• A sales background. Advertising sales, media sales, agency or digital marketing all count.
  
• Strong leadership and a sharp problem-solving mindset
  
• A results-driven approach with genuine customer focus
  
• Adaptability, emotional intelligence and clear communication
  
• Readiness to relocate to Lisbon
  

What is on offer

• 2,158 EUR gross per month, or 1,684 EUR gross per month if you take the company-provided apartment
  
• A performance bonus of up to 2,000 EUR per month on top
  
• Fixed hours, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. No nights, no weekends, no rotating shifts.
